Classes in Destiny 2 are located on this page. Classes define the role that you play in combat and building a fireteam with complimentary classes will be key to successful battle. Each class has 3 subclasses within it from each of the element types that allows for further refinement. This page will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
Classes
Hunter – Quick on the trigger and deadly with a blade. Cunning and ruthless, Hunters stalk the battlefields, taking big risks for bigger rewards. Leader: Cayde-6. It features the following subclasses:
- Arcstrider: features an acrobatic lance wielding super
- Gunslinger
- Nightstalker
Titan – No need for a scalpel when a hammer will do the trick. Built for power and prepared for war, Titans stand tall against our countless enemies. Leader: Zavala. It features the following subclasses:
- Sentinel: summons a shield during its super that can be used to defend or hurled across the battlefield as a projectile weapon.

Warlock – Warrior-scholars of the Light, a Warlock's mind is an arsenal of deadly secrets. On the battlefield, those secrets can shatter reality itself. Leader: Ikora Rey. It features the following subclasses:
- Dawnblade: has a super that uses a flaming sword that can also send out fiery projectiles.
- Voidwalker
- Stormcaller
there is not stormcollar, sunbreaker, and nightstalker in destiny 2!
